In celebration of her grandmother, Nanay Julie, Sarah, founder of Filcanpreneur, proudly established this initiative. Seventy years ago, Nanay Julie embarked on a courageous journey from the Philippines to Canada in search of better opportunities for her family. Her sacrifices laid the foundation for the opportunities Sarah embraces today, and she is deeply committed to honouring her legacy by paying it forward.
Sarah, alongside a group of passionate socialpreneurs, established Filcanpreneur with the mission to uplift the Filipino community and increase representation in business and innovation. Created to break down the barriers faced by Filipino minorities, Filcanpreneur brings together expertise in business, innovation and community building to provide the resources, mentorship, and opportunities needed to inspire and elevate the next generation. Our vision goes beyond business success—Filcanpreneur seeks to foster growth, drive inclusivity, and create lasting change that empowers Filipino communities to thrive.
