Who Can Join:
The Innovate and Elevate Pitch Competition is a dynamic and inclusive event designed to give entrepreneurs, startups, and established businesses a platform to showcase their innovative ideas and business solutions. Whether you're an early-stage startup, an established company looking to scale, or someone with a groundbreaking product or service, this competition is for you!

The goal is to foster innovation, encourage new ideas, and support businesses in their journey toward growth and success.

Submit a 6-slide pitch deck or a 3-minute video to showcase why your idea deserves a spot in the live pitch.

Apply for the Innovate & Elevate Start Up Pitch Competition here:

• Team: Individuals or teams can apply. At least one team member must identify as Filipino. Max. of 4 people per team.
• Business Stage: Open to early-stage startups, growth-stage companies, and individuals with actionable plans or prototypes.
• Innovative Ideas: The business or idea should demonstrate creativity, problem-solving, and a potential for high impact.
• Growth Potential: Whether you’re a small startup or an established company, your business should show signs of scalability and growth.
• Commitment: Commit to pitching, attending workshops, and engaging with mentors throughout the competition process as part of the UTSC SICIEEL program.
• Pitch: Ability to present your business idea clearly and effectively.
• Location: Must be from Canada.

To apply, please submit the application form, accompanied by a 6-slide pitch deck OR 3-minute video outlining the following:

1. Introduction: A brief introduction to yourself and your team.
2. Business Overview: Provide a brief description of your startup, including your mission, vision, and goals. 
3. Problem Statement: Highlight the problem your product/service addresses and your innovative solution.
4. Solution: A description of your innovation and its value proposition.
5. Market Potential: Your target market, audience, and the potential for growth.
6. Progress/Results: For existing businesses, share significant achievements or milestones.
7. Call to Action: Specify what you're seeking (investment, partnerships, users to try the product/service etc.).

• Semi-Finalists Announced: June 30– Semi-finalists will be contacted via email with details for the live pitch event.
   
• Pitch Day: July 5 – Top 5 Semi-finalists will have the opportunity to present their pitch to the judges in front of a live audience.
   
• Finalists & Winners: Winners will be selected and announced at the end of the Pitch Day event.
  
  5-Minute Pitches: Shortlisted participants get 5 minutes to deliver a punchy, impactful pitch that showcases the core of their business idea or model.
