Got a startup that needs momentum or a business ready for growth? The Filcanpreneur Innovate & Elevate Startup Pitch Competition offers the perfect stage to get to bring your vision to life.

Who Can Join:
Startups and individuals across various industries, including creative fields, technology, social impact, branding, architecture, product design, green tech, sustainable fashion, ethical business, urban design, AI innovations in the arts, as well as impact-driven entrepreneurs, and organizations dedicated to creating positive change—and more.

Submit a 6-slide pitch deck or a 3-minute video to showcase why your idea deserves a spot in the live pitch.

• Team: Individuals or teams can apply. At least one team member must identify as Filipino. Max. of 4 people per team.
• Business Stage: Open to early-stage startups, growth-stage companies, and individuals with actionable plans or prototypes.
• Innovation & Impact: Must offer innovative solutions with potential for positive social, environmental, or economic impact.
• Commitment to Positive Change: Must be dedicated to making a meaningful impact through their product or work.
• Market Potential:The business should show potential for growth, scalability, and an ability to reach a broad market or target audience.
• AI and Technology Integration: Encouraging startups using AI in creative, business, or social impact sectors.
• Social Enterprises and NGOs: Open to startups with social enterprise models and NGOs focused on sustainable impact.
• Pitch: Ability to present your business idea clearly and effectively.
• Location: Must be from Canada.

To apply, please submit the application form, accompanied by a 6-slide pitch deck OR 3-minute video outlining the following:

1. Introduction: A brief introduction to yourself and your team.
2. Business Overview: Provide a brief description of your startup, including your mission, vision, and goals. 
3. Problem Statement: Highlight the problem your product/service addresses and your innovative solution.
4. Solution: A description of your innovation and its value proposition.
5. Market Potential: Your target market, audience, and the potential for growth.
6. Progress/Results: For existing businesses, share significant achievements or milestones.
7. Call to Action: Specify what you're seeking (investment, partnerships, users to try the product/service etc.).

Judges will evaluate submissions as they come in, selecting the top 5 startups with groundbreaking ideas, designs or solutions.

Finalists will be announced by: June 21, 2025

Finalists will then present their final pitches in front of a panel of experts and industry leaders at the Harbourfront Centre on July 5.

5-Minute Pitches: Shortlisted participants get 5 minutes to deliver a punchy, impactful pitch that showcases the core of their business idea or model.
